Isaac Coffey took the mound for the WooSox against the Red Wings, and, save for his three walks and a long ball allowed, pitched alright in his last appearance of 2025. He struck out just two but also gave up just two knocks. This game was tied at four a piece heading into the ninth, and Alex Hoppe’s terrible ninth inning all but wrapped it up for the Mets.

The WooSox came up to bat in the bottom of the ninth down three runs with just an 8% chance of winning the game. That shrunk down to as little as five percent as Syracuse got two quick outs. Abraham Toro, Nathan Hickey (who had three hits on the night) and Tyler McDonough at-bats later, the score was tied and the game was heading to extras. Sadly, Hobie Harris allowed that
