GLENDALE, Ariz. — Thousands of people are expected to gather for a memorial service honoring Charlie Kirk on Sunday, from members of the public to the president of the United States.

Turning Point USA, the political organization Kirk co-founded, announced Kirk's memorial service will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday, Sept. 21.

The doors will open at 8 a.m. local time, and the service will start at 11 a.m. MT (2 p.m. ET).

The service is open to the public and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The large-scale nature of the event has prompted extensive security preparations, with federal and local agencies coordinating to ensure safety for the anticipated massive crowd.
