WASHINGTON — A veritable who's-who of prominent Republicans will be in Arizona this weekend to attend the funeral of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated earlier this month while speaking at an event in Utah.

Many Republican leaders and prominent conservatives were personally close with him and mourned publicly in the days after his assassination.

Several prominent members of the Trump administration, including the president and vice president, will speak at the service. House Speaker Mike Johnson is not scheduled to speak, but will attend the event.
