MECOSTA COUNTY, MI - A motorcyclist was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a crash Saturday afternoon in Big Rapids.
At 12:50 p.m., Sept. 20, a 53-year-old Tustin woman failed to yield to the right of way while pulling out of the Walmart parking lot near Perry Street, according to a press release from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver pulled out in front of a 21-year-old Jackson woman on a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by Meceola Central Dispatch, Big Rapids Department of Public Safety, Osceola County EMS and Curries Towing.
