CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — A shooting has been reported near a Chester County community Saturday afternoon.

The Chester County Sheriff's Office said it happened just before 3 p.m. along Catawba River Road north of Fort Lawn. One victim was reported, but deputies didn't provide further information about the victim's condition.

Deputies have promised to share more information as it becomes available.
