RUSTON, LA — Southern Miss football will visit Louisiana Tech for its first road game of the season in Week 4.

The Golden Eagles (2-1) and Bulldogs (2-1) are both coming off conference wins. The teams will face off at Joe Aillet Stadium on Sept. 20.

With the win over Appalachian State , USM has already surpassed its win total from last season under first-year coach Charles Huff . A win over the Bulldogs would match the Golden Eagles' win total from 2023 and give the program its first 3-1 start since 2016.
