Good Evening ENC! A back-door cool front will slide in from the north this evening and stall just offshore tonight. That puts ENC on the cool side with a northeast breeze especially along the Outer Banks. With the front over the water, the rain stays mainly offshore; we’ll just see increasing low clouds tonight and no fog issues.
Sunday keeps the northeast breeze and a touch cooler feel compared to the last few days, especially for the Outer Banks where highs hold in the mid–upper 70s. Inland locations run mid-80s, pleasantly warm with low to moderate humidity. High pressure strengthens Monday–Tuesday, turning the weather quiet and comfortable.
By mid to late next week, high pressure strengthens a bit more, and we’ll heat up, near 90° inland, around 80° beaches—while humidity slowly tick
