Manchester United have been told why Casemiro was handed a red card during the Premier League clash with Chelsea on Saturday evening.

United went into their latest game against the west Londoners on the back of defeat to Manchester City in the Manchester derby, and would have been determined to return to winning ways. Casemiro was issued a red card after being given two yellows by referee Peter Bankes.

The United midfielder picked up his first booking for a foul on Enzo Fernandez, shortly after Bruno Fernandes had put the Reds in front at Old Trafford . His second caution came after a tackle on Chelsea substitute Andrey Santos, which led to Casemiro being given his marching orders in first-half added time.
