(FOX40.COM)- The Sacramento Police Department have arrested Anibal Hernandezsantana of Sacramento in connection to the shots being fired at the building of the news station ABC10, at 1:30pm on Friday.

The suspects vehicle was identified by police which led them to a residence in the 5400 block of Carlson Drive. Hernandezsantana was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm.

Police say the motive remains under investigation and thank the FBI for providing resources in support of the investigation.

The Sacramento Police are encouraging any witnesses to the crime to contact police at 916-808-5471. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
