MEAD, Wash. -- Get ready for some fall fun at Spokane County Fire District 4's first annual Fall Festival.

This fun event is happening on Friday, October 24 from 4:30 p.m. until 6 :30 p.m. at Station 44 in Mead.

Bring the whole family to enjoy activities such as pumpkin carving, Touch-a-Truck, virtual reality fire extinguisher simulation, safety education booths, delicious food and drinks and so much more.

This year's campaign, "Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home," highlights how you can safely buy, charge and recycle lithium-ion batteries.

Tickets are $10 per person and includes a pumpkin and a meal. There are $5 meal-only tickets available as well. Children under 3 get in free with a ticket purchase.
