SCOTT Co., Iowa (KWQC) - A Bettendorf man was sentenced to two years’ probation, with a deferred judgment, on child pornography charges.

Court records show Benjamin R. Kluever, 32, pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of a depiction of a minor engaged in a sex act, a Class D felony, in June.

Kluever was given a deferred judgment and placed on probation for two years in a hearing on Thursday, according to court records. He must register as a sex offender, complete sex abuse treatment and have his electronics monitored.

If he completes probation, the conviction will not be entered on his record, court records show.

Kluever was originally charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, a Class D felony, according to court documents.
