CHENEY, Wash. -- Eastern Washington University students are settling into their dorms for the start of the new semester, and the Cheney Police Department is reminding people how they can stay safe both on and off campus.
As students settle in, CPD has the following reminders:
Watch for pedestrians and crosswalks around campus
Lock up your bikes and vehicles when they are unattended
Call in any suspicious behavior you see in order to keep yourself and your fellow students safe.
"We're excited to see Roos Field full again, local businesses buzzing, and our community growing with all the energy you bring," Cheney Police posted on Facebook. "Have a great semester, and as always--Go Eags!"
