A 28-year-old Battle Creek man was arrested after police said a repossession agent was hit by a vehicle while attempting to tow a vehicle in Pennfield Township, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office.
The incident was reported in the 2100 block of North Avenue shortly before 10:20 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18.
"According to initial reports, a repossession agent was attempting to tow a vehicle when an unknown male intentionally struck him with another vehicle, pinning the victim between two cars. The suspect then fled the scene after releasing the victim," the sheriff's office said in a news release.
