INDIANAPOLIS — A man was arrested for allegedly threatening a McDonald's employee prior to an officer-involved shooting Saturday afternoon on the north side of Indianapolis.

According to IMPD, around 6:23 p.m. on Sept. 20, officers were called to the McDonald's restaurant located at 2425 East 38th Street , near North Keystone Avenue, on a report of a disturbance with a weapon. Police say a 911 caller told dispatchers that a man was armed with a firearm and was threatening employees at the restaurant.

When officers arrived at the McDonald's, they found the 34-year-old male suspect inside. An employee told officers that the suspect had allegedly threatened to kill them.
