INDIANAPOLIS — Members of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were involved in a shooting on the near northeast side of Indy Saturday night.

According to an IMPD post on X, the shooting occurred in the 2400 block of 38th Street. It is currently unclear exactly when the shooting occurred.

IMPD has confirmed that no officers were injured in the shooting. Police have also reported that the suspect involved in the shooting was not injured either.

IMPD detained the suspect involved in the shooting after confirming they were not shot. Investigators believe the incident does not pose an ongoing threat to the area as all parties implicated in the shooting have been accounted for.
