Despite holding a two-score lead at halftime against Cedar Cliff, Harrisburg quarterback Mikal Shank Jr. and his Cougar teammates knew that their team wasn’t playing up to their potential.
Call it a flipped switch or call it a regression to the mean, but the team took some encouragement in how it was able to respond to 24 minutes of relative doldrums, as Harrisburg put up 28 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to cruise to a 42-0 win over Cedar Cliff on Saturday at Severance Field.
