EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Huskies fans gathered at Rentschler Field for their second home football game of the season on Saturday.

UConn fans dominated the stands during the game against Ball State.

For many, it’s all about the game, food, and some fun.

Yet the fun started hours before the 3:30 p.m. kickoff at the tailgates.

“Some of our friends have a pizza oven, we have the grills, we make breakfast. That’s where its at then we come here and we just have a good time,” said Elizabeth Perrier from Tolland.

Inside the stadium, fans got to take their pick of food truck options.

The stands were packed for those with their full attention on the game.
