WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) - A 4-year-old was struck by a car in Waterbury on Saturday.

Authorities said the child was hospitalized for minor injuries.

According to police, the crash happened around 12:12 p.m. near 274 Bunker Hill Avenue.

The driver reportedly remained on scene.

No further information was released.
