A one-year-old was seriously injured after a tractor trailer failed to stop at a red light on Route 70 in Evesham Township, Burlington County , New Jersey on Saturday, police said.

The three-car crash happened at around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 70 and Locust Avenue, police said.

The crash began after a tractor trailer failed to stop at a red light at the intersection, colliding into two other vehicles, police said.

One of the vehicles, a minivan, had a one-year-old inside at the time, who was taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition, police said.

Another person suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, police said.
