A 70-year-old man was killed after colliding head-on with another car on Dyke Branch Road in Dover, Del., on Saturday afternoon, police said.

According to Delaware State Police, the man's Honda Accord was going eastbound on the road at around 3:30 p.m., approaching a curve west of Wheel of Fortune Road when the man crossed into the westbound lanes for an unknown reason.

A Volvo S40, driven by a 16-year-old along with a 45-year-old woman passenger, were traveling westbound and tried to get out of the Honda's way by crossing into the eastbound lanes, but the Honda reverted back to the eastbound lanes, causing the two to collide head-on, police said.
