WASHINGTON COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - A driver is seriously injured after crashing into a creek near Forest Grove early Saturday morning, according to the Oregon State Police.

Shortly before 4:30 a.m., officers responded to a crash on State Route 47 between Osterman Road and Spreadborough Road, where they found a 2002 Ford F350 in an irrigation ditch.

According to Forest Grove Fire & Rescue, the driver was suffering from serious injuries and needed to be carried up to the roadway by rescue crews before he was rushed to the hospital by a LifeFlight helicopter.
