PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A driver is dead after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 84 near Corbett early Saturday morning, according to Oregon State Police.
Shortly before 4 a.m., crews with Corbett Fire and OSP officers responded to the two-car crash near milepost 24, officials said. When firefighters arrived, they found one car engulfed in flames.
Once crews had extinguished the fire, the driver of that car was declared dead at the scene. The other involved driver was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital.
OSP said they will not release any further information on Saturday, as this is a criminal investigation.
