INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a person was shot Saturday afternoon on the north side of Indianapolis.
According to IMPD, around 7:18 p.m. on Sept. 20, officers were called to the 3300 block of Central Avenue , near East 33rd Street, on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found one person with a gunshot wound. Police say the victim was reported to be in "critical but stable" condition.
IMPD says they detained a person at the scene, but their involvement is unclear.
