MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A multi-vehicle crash has shut down traffic in both directions on Highway 385 near Hacks Cross Road in Shelby County.

According to TDOT, the crash happened around mile marker 6 just before 6 p.m. Saturday. Both the eastbound and westbound lanes are currently closed, and all traffic is being redirected off the highway.

TDOT SmartWay cameras show heavy emergency response on the scene, including ambulances, fire trucks, and multiple police units.

Drivers should avoid the area and use alternate routes until the scene is cleared. No word yet on injuries or how long the closures will remain in place.
