BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) has recognized the North Dakota Department of Transportation with the 2025 AAMVA Communications Social Media Award.
The award focuses on communications and safety initiatives among motor vehicle and law enforcement agencies. It was awarded NDDOT's Vision Zero Schools campaign, a social media campaign focused towards high schoolers to encourage safe driving practices. Particularly unimpaired, distraction-free driving.
The campaign marks the second time the Vision Zero team has received both regional and international recognition for their marketing. “This award reflects the commitment of North Dakota students, teachers, and community partners," NDDOT Highway Safety Division Director Karin Mongeon said
