HOUSTON (CW39) — If you drive on the Northwest Freeway just outside West Loop 610 North, prepare for overnight lane closures this week. That's because power crews are restoring area power lines.
CenterPoint Energy is working with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and said that one eastbound lane, one westbound lane, plus the HOV lanes are going to be closed between Mangum Road and Antoine Drive from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 21 until Thursday, Sept. 25. Drivers are urged to plan ahead, follow posted signs, and expect some delays during the overnight hours.
