(FOX40.COM) — The man who died a week ago after his disabled truck was hit by a tractor-trailer on Sept. 13 has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office as 21-year-old Victor Manuel Castaneda. • Video above: How to report a public safety threat

According to the GoFundMe page that was created by Castaneda's loved ones, he was a senior at Sacramento State, studying Kinesiology. The page also stated that Castaneda was looking into Master programs after graduation.

On Sept. 13, around 7 a.m. the California Highway Patrol responded to a disabled pickup truck vs a tractor-trailer on I-5 north of Sutterville Road.

His family said on the GoFundMe page that Castaneda was on his way to work that morning when he started to have vehicle problems.
