One person is dead after a shooting at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, sources told Hearst sister station WMUR.

One person was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment with a gunshot wound.

At least six other people were taken to Nashua-area hospitals with injuries that were not gunshot-related, sources said. Many were injured in the chaos of the shooting.

Nashua police said they are investigating an incident at Sky Meadow Country Club, possibly involving multiple gunshot victims.

Police said video surveillance confirmed there was only one shooter and they are currently detained. There is no threat to the public.

As of 10 p.m., nearby residents are still in a shelter-in-place, according to Nashua Alderman Melbourne Moran.
