ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Rochester Grizzlies secured a 4-0 victory over the Peoria Mustangs, marking their third consecutive win and completing a weekend sweep.
Brett Ludvigsen scored late in the first period, giving the Grizzlies a lead they would not relinquish. Andrew Bastian doubled the lead in the second period, followed by a highlight-reel goal from Mason Decker. Ole Fevold contributed with two goals and three assists, sealing the win.
Kyle Lappi recorded his first career shutout in the NA3HL, allowing only two goals across three games this season. Despite his efforts, Peoria's Charles Maquet faced 36 shots, stopping 32.
The Grizzlies will have a two-week break before another match-up against Peoria, while the Mustangs prepare to face the Minnesota Wilderness.
