YOUNGSTOWN First responders are on scene at Stambaugh Stadium on the campus of Youngstown State University Saturday night after reports of a shooting.
Police told 21 News that one person was taken to the hospital.
Details are slim at this time but a YSU Penguin Alert sent out at 9:39 p.m. said to avoid the stadium.
The Penguin Alert read: "There was an incident but the situation is under control."
A football game between Cardinal Mooney High School and Chardon High School was held at the stadium beginning at 7 p.m.
Witnesses told 21 News they had to evacuate the stadium around the time of the alert.
A 21 News crew is on scene gathering more information.
