WARREN Two local judges are planning a public vigil for conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Judges David Engler and Mark Hanni are organizing Sunday's event at the Warren Amphitheater.

The event will open at noon with a performance by the Chris Higbee Band.

A live stream of Kirk's memorial services in Phoenix will begin around 2 p.m.

Judge Engler told 21 News he's expecting around 2,000 people to attend the free event.

Kirk was shot and killed during an event at Utah Valley University on September 10. The suspected shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was arrested two days later.

Kirk was 31-years-old.
