Hermantown scored three times in the second half to turn around an early 2-0 deficit and defeat Duluth Denfeld on Saturday at Corey Veech Field at Centricity Stadium in Hermantown.

Goals from Ana Haugen and Stella Nickila had the Hunters up 2-0 after 23 minutes in the first half, but Claire Niksich started the comeback by scoring for Hermantown about four minutes before the half.

Five minutes after the break, Danika Bolf scored the equalizer for Hermantown, while Vienna Kolenda buried the go-ahead goal just three minutes later. McKenna Johnson added an insurance goal in the 57th minute.

The Hermantown defense raised its game in the second half, as first-half goalkeeper Lucy Critchley faced nine shots and stopped seven, while second-half keeper Cambriia Thomas was only called upon three
