HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior football team kicks off conference play against the California State University, Fresno, Bulldogs.

Saturday’s game is the 57th meeting between ‘Bows and the Bulldogs, and their rivalry spans both teams’ memberships in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and the Mountain West Conference.

Last year, the ‘Bows got a come-from-behind 21-20 win in Fresno.

However, Saturday’s matchup could be the last meeting in a while as Fresno State leaves for the PAC-12 next season.

‘Bows quarterback Micah Alejado is expected to play after being out for the last two weeks due to an ankle injury.
