CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The University of Northern Iowa fell to Utah Tech on Saturday as the Panther offense failed to find the endzone.
The Panther offense was outgained on the ground by Utah Tech to the tune of 47 rushing yards to 160 rushing yards. Quarterback Matthew Schecklman threw for 160 yards, completing 18 of 31 pass attempts. Meanwhile, the Panther defense did generate a turnover, picking off Utah Tech Quarterback Reggie Graff in the second quarter.
After the loss, Northern Iowa has a bye week and will play North Dakota on Saturday, October 4th.
