CLEVELAND — Two people were found dead Saturday in separate shootings at the same location on the city’s east side, according to Cleveland police .
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 2 a.m. in the 3600 block of East 59th Street, where they found a 42-year-old man with gunshot wounds behind a building. Police rendered aid until EMS arrived, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Later that morning, at approximately 9:40 a.m., officers responded to another ShotSpotter alert for a single gunshot at the same address. A 36-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound. She pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit is investigating both incidents. No arrests have been made.
