LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A woman is in the hospital following a shooting in the Southside neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police said around 10:34 p.m. Saturday, they responded to a shooting in the 5000 block of Wabash Place.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said she was transported to University Hospital.

They said her injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.

There are no known suspects as of now, and LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation.
