PITTSTON — Pizza Althea started as a pop-up-style business consisting of Chef Rory Flynn and business partner Josh Beh. It would travel to local businesses and serve fresh, made-to-order pizzas and sides out of two portable ovens and an EZ-up tent.

“The name was always a tribute to our mothers,” Flynn said. “We were graciously hosted by the likes of Groove brewing, Adezzo, Electric City Ciderworks and many more.”

Flynn said he met Beh when they when they were opening the popular breakfast spot, Henry’s on Clay. They traveled around the area, opening a few other successful bars and restaurants, even spent some time living and working together in Jim Thorpe.
