NASHUA, N.H. — A man is dead after a shooting at a country club in Nashua, New Hampshire, Saturday night.

Officers reported to Sky Meadow Country Club for reports of gunshots, according to a news release from the New Hampshire attorney general's office.

According to the release, a man walked into the club and fired several shots, killing one man and injuring several others.

Nashua police officers detained the single suspect at the scene, the release said.

The Nashua Police Department initially posted about the incident to X around 8:30 p.m., saying there were multiple gunshot victims and two suspects.

The initial reports that there were two shooters was incorrect, according to the AG's office.
