Wednesday could start with a shower in southern Maine. The brightest weather will be in eastern and northern Maine with high temperatures around 70. Clouds will give way to some developing sun in southern areas, temperatures in the 60s.

A period of steadier rain is likely Thursday afternoon, this is the best chance for more widespread rain this week.
