The Angelo State Rambelles have experienced a turbulent start to their 2025 campaign, entering Saturday's Lone Star Conference home opener with a 1-2-2 overall season record. The Rambelles dropped their LSC opener on Wednesday with a 2-0 loss at Dallas Baptist, looking to turn things around on Saturday afternoon versus Lubbock Christian.

The Rambelles wasted little time versus the visiting Lady Chaps, as Sanai Stewart found the back of the net in the ninth minute for her second goal this season.
