LSU sophomore running back Caden Durham suffered an ankle sprain in the second quarter of the Tigers' 56-10 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday, coach Brian Kelly said.
Durham will undergo an MRI for his ailment on Sunday. Durham had seven carries for 17 yards on Saturday but didn't touch the ball in the second half.
"We like to check those things out," Kelly said. "So we'll get probably an MRI, make sure everything's good, or a full scan tomorrow, and then we'll have a better report on him."
Durham leads the Tigers in carries this season with 52 through four games. He had 196 rushing yards and was averaging 4.4 yards per carry heading into Saturday's showdown with the Lions.
