LOS ANGELES. (WILX) - USC leads Michigan State 24-10 at halftime.
USC elected to take the opening kick, and the Spartans were able to hold the Trojans to a Ryon Sayeri 25-yard field goal to go down 3-0.
Michigan State went right down the field and answered back as Aidan Chiles connected with Chrishon McCray for a 42-yard touchdown to give MSU a 7-3 lead.
The Spartans couldn’t stop the Trojans on their next drive as USC scored on Jayden Maiava’s 15-yard touchdown run to give the Trojans back a 10-7 lead.
MSU punted on its first drive of the second quarter, and USC took it right down the field again, and Maiava connected with Makai Lemon for a 40-yard touchdown to grow the Trojans’ lead to 17-7.
