Enrollment at the University of North Dakota’s Grand Forks campus has reached a record 8,129, according to Milford Ulven, UND registrar. The figure is a 204 increase over last year’s 7,925.

UND President George W. Starcher said the enrollment represents an increase of about 2.5 per cent over the fall 1969 figure. “This increase,” he said, “is a clear response to the quality of UND’s academic programs and its effort to keep pace with the changing times in which we live.”

He pointed out that the present enrollment represents an increase of 731 students, or 9.8 per cent, for the past two years.
