Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that it will revise prices across its passenger vehicle portfolio to reflect the GST 2.0 rate cuts. The updated pricing will take effect from September 22, 2025, the same day the new tax structure is enforced. The reduction varies across models. The lowest cut is Rs 60,640 on the Hyundai Verna, while the highest drop is Rs 2.40 lakh on the Hyundai Tucson. Other models in the lineup also see significant revisions depending on segment and variant. The GST 2.0 framework has adjusted tax slabs across the automobile sector. Small petrol cars under four metres with engines below 1,200cc now fall under the 18% GST rate, down from 29%. Diesel cars below 1,500cc are also taxed at 18%, compared to 31% earlier.
