PHOENIX — From small towns to big cities — and even from other countries — thousands of people are arriving in and around Phoenix to honor the memory of Charlie Kirk. Friends, families, and even new followers say they felt they had to make the trip to say goodbye.
John Perret and his wife, Patti, drove more than 22 hours from Louisiana to make it in time for Kirk’s Sunday services. John says he didn’t follow Kirk closely until his death.
“Charlie is a good guy. That’s all we knew,” he said.
