LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A man is dead following a shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police said around 10:47 p.m. Saturday night, they responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Wilart Drive.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

They said his injuries were fatal and he was pronounced dead on scene by EMS.

All parties are accounted for.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation and will consult with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office to review and recommend charges if there are any.
