KNOXVILLE – Facing a team that was one of the worst in the nation in every defensive category, the Tennessee Volunteers knew going into Saturday’s game the potential for big offense numbers was there.

Potential became reality.

The 15 th -ranked Volunteers took out their frustrations from last week’s heart-breaker against Georgia by blasting the Alabama-Birmingham Blazers 56-24 Saturday at Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee scored on seven of the their first eight drives and finished the game with 510 total yards. Joey Aguilar started the game 4-for-4 in the opening drive, extended that to 7-for-7 and finished 15-of-22 for 218 yards, three touchdowns and a pick.
