Cardi B and her sophomore album 7 years in the making, AM I THE DRAMA? is already living up to its name after securing instant platinum certification by RIAA. The reasoning of course is because the 23-track project features the now 9X platinum WAP (2020) with Megan Thee Stallion and the 5X platinum hit Up , (2021) which both previously topped the charts.

Despite the drama, the album is currently aiming for a #1 debut on Billboard 200 with 125-150K units first week thus securing her another consecutive top album placement on the chart.

The album earned 14.68 million streams in its first full day of release on Spotify. These are not good numbers in comparison to her other female rap peers.
