Britain is set to bask in a heatwave as new weather charts reveal temperatures could soar to 22C in the coming days.

Netweather. tv's forecasting maps suggest that warm weather will sweep back across the country before September ends.

The charts for 29 September show the West Midlands will be on the periphery of the warmer weather with areas around Norwich, Peterborough, Cambridge and Norfolk will feel the heat most with mercury levels rising to 22C.
