BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti turned back the clock on Saturday night as he weighed a pivotal decision that ultimately opened the door to a 63-10 blowout win over Illinois.

Cignetti opted to punt with IU facing a fourth-and-1 at midfield midway through the first quarter, but he got a chance to reconsider the move after Illinois burned a timeout to avoid a flag for having too many men on the field.
